Consider the material and labour costs, of course, you did that already, Now, include
your lost production time, the time of other workers that are watching, discussing
and complaining about how they are made and giving input. Incorrect gap
size, plates not being ready when CWB arrives or plates that are fabricated incorrectly
and incorrect material used or the bevel cut incorrectly.
All of these things add up in cost for preparing plates. If the plates aren’t correct
when CWB arrives, there will be additional costs for the CWB time while waiting to
correct the plates.
